Homer May

Homer May, 86, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of South Point, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Matthew Workman. Burial will follow at May Cemetery, Huntington, WV Homer was born on October 1, 1924 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Roscoe and Sylvia Bloss May. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Myrtle May and two sons Roy and Michael May. Homer was a member of Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church, Part owner of Andrew and May Upholstery for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII. He is survived by his son and daughter in law: Jerry and Barbara May and daughter and son in law Glenna and Jay Workman all of Zanesville, Ohio Four grandchildren Marci Shumway, Kari May and Jason and Matthew Workman One sister: Reva Fay Heninger Friends may call from 6-9 pm Friday December 3, 2010 at the Reger Funeral Home.
