Icy Burton

Icy Burton, 87 of Huntington, WV passed from this life, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Roger Smith. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville in a private committal for family. Icy was born April 25, 1927 in East Lynn, WV a daughter of the late Aaron and Virgin Adkins Asbury. She was a retired employee of Owens Illinois, attended Camp Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Richard Burton, two brothers and one sister. Her survivors include, one brother Basil Asbury, and one sister Georgia Nelson and one half sister Clara Napier, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Home. Contributions to Hospice of Huntington would be appreciated.
