Ida Virginia Martin Stephens

Ida Virginia Martin Stephens, 97, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Sweet Briar Assisted Living, Dunbar. Funeral services can be conducted by Pastor Dean Chambers at 1 pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date. Ida was born on April 8, 1921 in Logan County, WV to the late Everett and Emily Pridemore Whitt. Ida was a quality inspector for Owens Illinois Glass Company from which she retired after 36 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren R. Martin; her second husband, Rev. John B. Stephens; her siblings, Agnes Vest, Denver “Bud” Whitt, Mildred Chambers, infant sister Milford Louise Whitt, Lewanna Jo Dennler, Blake Whitt and Delma Pruden.
