Ila Kay Norris

Ila Kay Gibbs Norris, 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2025at Madison Park Healthcare in Huntington, W.Va. Kay was born on May 29, 1939, in Huntington to the late Lawrence Gibbs and Helen Delores Sowards. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Harry Eugene "Junior" Norris; siblings, Lawrence Gibbs and Linda Hoover; one daughter, Kathy Ann Norris; son-in-law, Larry Fischer and daughter-in-law, Kristin Norris; two grandchildren, Christy Lee Fischer and Matthew Ryan Norris; and one great-grandson, Dillon Cole Horn. She is survived by Five children, Sandra Fischer, Brenda (Goble) Cooper, Steven (Jane) Norris, Timothy (Jodie) Norris and Harry Norris; siblings, Deloris Pennington, Donna Eplion, Sheila Holley, Danny Travis, and Terry Travis; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Mike Saunders on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, W.Va. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Saturday at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
