Inez M. Dixon, 90, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at her home. She was born September 21, 1917 to the late Kady and Neola (Jones) Browning. Inez was dedicated to the Lord and lived a Christian life from the age of fifteen. She was a charter member of the Ceredo Church of Christ, where she not only taught Bible classes, but shared her Bible knowledge in the way she lived her life everyday. She was also preceded in death by her husband William �Buck� Dixon, son William �Tony� Dixon, daughter Stephanie Evans, grandson Robert Frasher, two great-grandchildren, six brothers; Raymond, Carlos, Walter, John, Edgar and Sims, and two sisters; Madeline Yates and Ola Browning. Mrs. Dixon is survived by two daughters; Marilyn Frasher of Wayne and Sidney (John) Adkins of Buckhannon; one son Kevin (Sarah) Dixon of Kenova, daughter in law Cora Dixon and son in law Phillip �Bo� Evans; ten grandchildren; Jennifer �Sas� Caudill, Timothy Frasher, Anthony Dixon, John Dixon, Lori McVicker, Phillip Evans, Jr., Kara Dee Vuic, Tracy Dixon, Gail Davis, and David Adkins, twenty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, her church family, and many other friends and relatives. The family would like to thank Hospice for their care and service. Funeral services for Mrs. Dixon will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday July 19, 2008 at Ceredo Church of Christ, with Minister David Roach and Minister Don Wright officiating. Visitation will be from 6-9pm Friday, July 18, 2008 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ceredo Church of Christ or American Cancer Society. These may be made at the funeral home.
