James Franklin Kitts, Jr.

James Franklin Kitts, Jr., 68, of Huntington, died Thursday, April 25, 2024 at King's Daughter's Medical Center, Ashland, KY. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at a later date. James was born on July 13, 1955 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late James Franklin and Helen Louise Cooper Kitts. James loved to spend time outside and watch TV. But he most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Kitts; and one brother, David Kitts. He is survived by his daughter, Brandie (Dustin) Freeman; step-son, Steven Dean and his father, Joseph Day; three grandchildren, Christopher, Lylah, Hazelynn; and two cousins, Jeff Kitts, Jean Kitts. Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
