James Howard Reed

James Howard Reed, 99, of Barboursville, WV, widower of Betty Jane Reed, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Chapel.  Entombment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  He was born March 18, 1925 in Logan, WV, a son of the late William Howard and LouElla Harvey Reed.  He was a retired engineer with C&P Telephone Company.  James was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII.  In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth R. Massey, Katherine M. Reed and Mary Alice Levins.  Survivors include his children James Tony Reed (Gina G.
