James Morgan May met his Lord and Savior face to face on Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born to Clyde and Hattie May of Belfrey, KY, on January 28, 1954. He was reunited in Glory with his brother, Darrell, and sister, Helen �Dean.� Awaiting to join them are brothers, Larry, Doug, Keith, Ted, and John. Jim was the devoted husband of Stephanie and loving father to Jennifer Damron, Stephanie and Drew Collins, Danny and Amber Walker, Brett and Suzie Sparks, and Leslie Sparks. Jim was blessed with 7 adoring grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, and Hailey Damron, Sheyenne and Cole Walker, Zachary and James Vinson Sparks. He cherished a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a valued employee of Kemron Environmental Services as an environmental technician and a dedicated friend to his colleagues. Jim was an active and faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He treasured his Church family and his life was a testimony of Christian love and service. He expressed God�s love to all he encountered with affection, generosity, and laughter. He will be sorely missed by many. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday at the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Booth officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday at the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
