James Ronald Mcdowell

James Ronald McDowell, age 85, of Ceredo, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 while under the care of St. Mary�s Medical Center in Huntington. Born September 3, 1929 in Huntington, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) McDowell. James was a member of the Ceredo United Methodist Church and worked as a machine operator for Heiner�s Bakery. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Alberta Faye (Fraley) McDowell; his daughter, Kathy Holley and her husband, Brian; his sister-in-law, Katherine �Kitty� McDowell; his grandson, Brian C. Holley and his wife, Amanda; his great-grandson, Brayden E. Holley, and his special niece and nephew, Greg and Karen and their families. A graveside ceremony will be held at 1:15 P.M. on November 4, 2014 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville with Pastor Tom Baisden officiating. There will be no procession to the cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor in support of the Ceredo United Methodist Church. 14-054
