JAMES S. “STEVE” GREENE, 66, of Huntington, W.Va., husband of Deborah Kay Greene, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born December 1, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Jim and Lovevona Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Greene. Steve spent the majority of his career in retail management, but was most proud of being a husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Deborah Kay Greene, one son and daughter-in-law, Matthew (Shannon) Greene, and two grandchildren, Jackson and Macie Greene. In addition, Steve leaves behind a sister Connie Ashworth and a host of family and friends, including two very special cousins, Sharon Mills and Sheila Mills Reeves. The family would also like to thank a life-long family friend Kathy Boudreau, whose kindness, caring and compassion has made all of the difference in this difficult time. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Crosspoint Community Church in Huntington, W.Va.
