Janet Joyce Thacker

Janet Joyce Thacker, 87, left this world into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Emory Thacker. Janet leaves behind two devoted sons, Mark Steven Thacker and John Martin Thacker; she also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Mary Thacker; a beloved sister, Ruth Evelyn Adkins. She also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren Steven Jeffery Thacker and Traci Lauren Thacker, and two great grandchildren, Cannon and Cali Thacker. She was a long-time member of Westmoreland Baptist Church and an active member in many Westmoreland community functions. She also leaves behind many beloved nephews and nieces and many close and devoted friends. Visitation is scheduled from 6 -8 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled at 1 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Westmoreland Baptist Church. Burial services will be held at the chapel at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
