Janet Lee Raines Medeiros, 77, of Florida, formerly of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale, and Fl. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Janet was retired from Lockheed-Martin and ACF Industries. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Logan County, WV the daughter of the late Henry Clay Avery and Bernice Damron Wintz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Tom” Medeiros She is survived by her three children: Michael and Brian Raines and Lynne Raines, four grandchildren: Mandie Coffey, Chase, Casey and BreAnna Raines. Two great grandchildren: Cambre and Kate Coffey and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11-1 pm on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
