Janie Marie Gillman

Janie Marie Gillman, 32, of Kenova, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Janie was born on April 27, 1989 in Huntington, W.Va. Janie was a hair stylist. She loved her work styling and coloring hair as well as doing make up. She also loved to spend time with friends and family. She is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lane Hodge; maternal grandmother, Jane Lee Fox; maternal grandfather, Larry Allen Pack, paternal grandmother, Marie Gillman; paternal grandfather, Carmel Gillman; great grandparents, Amy Chandler and William Kenneth "Poppy" Smith; and one nephew, Austin Taylor Hodge. She is survived by her wife, Chantel Marie Moore; her mother, Amy Jane Pack Hodge; her father, Marc Alan Gillman; two sons, Tyler Gillman and Talon Gillman; one daughter, Tierra Carter; her mother-in-law, Rita Moore; brother, Zachary Hodge; brother-in-law, Zach Moore; sisters-in-law, Melissa Moore and Alyssa Vance; two nieces, LaShay Moore and Amelia Moore; a special niece, Destiny Hodge; a special nephew, Mickey Hodge; a special aunt, Pamela Pack; two uncles, Lane Chandler and Ron Chandler (Herbie); a special cousin, Tyler Workman; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews and family. Friends may call from 6-9 pm on Saturday October 23, 2021 at the Reger Funeral Home Huntington. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help out with funeral expenses.
