Jarrod Lee Barker

Jarrod Lee Barker, 33, of Ceredo, WV, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at his residence. Jarrod will be forever missed by his parents, Anita Hall of Ashland, KY and Roger and Jeanette Barker of Ceredo, one very special cousin and caregiver, Gena Burton, one brother, Phillip (Arnette) Barker of Ironton, OH, and 3 sisters, Melonie (Walter) Stubblefield of Ashland, KY, Pamela (Dru) Shope of Kenova, WV, Amanda Perdue of Ceredo. Jarrod enjoyed the favorite uncle status of 9 nieces and nephews. Jarrod has left behind two grandmothers, Carol Hall of Indiana and Dolly Barker of Olive Hill, KY and a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jarrod was preceded in death by two grandfathers Aaron Hall and Lonnie Barker. He was employed with Best Buy and was a graduate of Ironton High School and attending Marshall University. Jarrod was an avid camper and truly enjoyed all things outdoors. Friends and family may call at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home in Ceredo between 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16 and on Monday, August 17 between 6:00 p.m. � 8:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Raceland Cemetery.
