Jean Hall

Jean Hall, 89, of Lavalette, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Cabell Healthcare Center, Culloden, WV. Jean was born on May 13, 1928 in Martin County, KY to the late Repts Halbert and Dora Smith Halbert. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Paul Booth at 12 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Jean was a retired nurse for Hillview Nursing Home. She was a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Butler Hall; two brothers, Willis Halbert and Cecil Halbert; two sisters, Jan Bagby and Lou Halbert; and a special granddaughter, Jessica Smith. She is survived by five sons, Larry (Roseann) Hall, Gary (Mary) Hall, Phillip (Lynn) Hall, David (Sharon) Hall, and Edward Hall; four daughters, Deborah Hall, Teresa (Steve) Cole, Rose (Bobby) Smith, and Yvonne Thackett; and four sisters, Ruth, Faye, Doris and Elizabeth Halbert; twenty-one granchildren, Christine, Adam, Wesley, Lisa, Joseph, Luke, Jean, Faith, Morgan, Julian, Addison, Brock, Sawyer, Charity, Mark, Matthew, Emily, Ally, Renee, Adrian, and Felicia; seven great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Andrew, Bobbi, Angel, Mason, Macy.
