Jeannie Hinton

Jeannie Hinton, 66, of Huntington, WV,  passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 3 pm by Keith Auxier and Jerry Johnson at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Jeannie was born on October 29, 1954 in Huntington, WV to the late Thomas and Doris Jean Walden Blevins and her stepfather, Junior Blevins. She worked at the Keith Albee Movie theatre and the Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital. Jeannie loved to watch movies and to go see live music on Fridays and Saturdays. She also loved her Hershey's chocolate. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tayla Johnson; sister, Theresa Miller; and brother-in-law, Larry Hagley. She is survived by her two daughters, Natasha Johnson and Beverly Walden; four grandchildren, Andrew and Noah Short and Austin Bragg and Tyrane Robinson; sister, Debbie Hagley; brothers, George Blevins and Mike Blevins; nephews, Donnie Walden and D.J. Ratcliff; nieces, Angela Scarberry and Nikki Ratcliff; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family. She also leaves behind several close friends, Brenda Frazier, Tina Bennett, Diana Riley, Charlene Jaquez and Dave Jaquez.
