John Edgar Daniels

John Edgar Daniels, 78, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Greg Tomlinson and Pastor Rod Justice at 1 pm on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. John was born on November 9, 1946 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Quentin Lee and Juanita Louise Lester Daniels. John retired from the Huntington Police Department after 39 years of service. He was a Huntington City Council Member. He was the owner of Valley Alternators and Starter for over 40 years. John enjoyed golfing and fishing and was an avid Marshall Football fan. John is survived by his wife, Kimberly Daniels; children, Brian Keith Daniels, Kristi Ann Daniels, and Trasi Leiann Daniels; grandchildren, Sammuel, Erin, Brianna, and Carly; his brother, Jerry Allen Daniels; and his beloved golf friends, Harrold Lee, Wayne Ernest, and Roger Walker whom too yearly golf trips and attended Marshall games together.
