John Henry Rickman, Sr.

In loving memory of my husband, my best friend and my heart, John Henry Rickman Sr., 62, of Lavalette, WV passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Phillip Warren. Entombment will follow at White Chapel Mausoleum. John was born on November 2, 1953 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Thomas and Lois Ward Rickman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister Thomas Rickman and Ellen Mae Varney. John was a member of the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church and a retired shipmate. He is survived by his wife Deborah Beckett Rickman; sons and daughters in law John Rickman Jr. and Rhonda of Lavalette, WV, Bill and Tina Rickman of Ceredo, WV; daughter and son in law Misty and Jeff Mink; step children Brian Maxey, Johnathan Maxey and Kimberly Adkins; grandchildren Ashton Rickman, Cassie Crum, Devon Rickman, Austin Mink, Tyler Day, Blake Day, Nathan Day, Breann Maxey, Emily-Dawn Taylor, Demi Rickman and one great grandchild Kylie Crum.
