John Russell Myers, Jr.

John Russell Myers, Jr., 78, of Huntington, husband of Judy France Myers, passed away Sunday February 16, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  He was born May 13, 1946, in Huntington, a son of the late John Russell Myers and Francis Forbush Myers.  John was a truck driver and very family oriented. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Jean Myers and two brothers Jack Myers and Roger Myers.  Additional survivors include daughters, Sonia Adkins and Carol Myers; son John Myers, III (Shanna); four grandchildren, Katelyn Neff, Cassidy Mathis, Tanner McCollins and Samantha Myers; three great grandchildren Brooke Mathis, Bradley Mathis and Cayden Morrell; two brothers, Ronnie Myers and Gregory Myers and several nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, February 21, 2025 by Pastor Todd Munson at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
