John W Brewer, Sr.

John W. Brewer, Sr., 78, of Ceredo died Friday, February 17, 2006. He was born February 28, 1927 in Ceredo a son of the late Glenn and Erie (Carver) Brewer. He was retired from the Corps of Engineers. Mr. Brewer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo and the American Legion Post #93. Mr. Brewer honorably served his country during World War II in the Army. Mr. Brewer is preceded in death by his loving wife Eunice Clarine (Adkins) Brewer, two sisters Imogene Larrowe and Nenevay Foglesong, and two brothers Glenn Franklin Brewer and Wallace Jack Brewer. Survivors include two sons, John Brewer, Jr. of Ceredo, and Jack and Deborah Brewer of Ceredo, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Brewer will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Byard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
