Joyce Fay Riggs Welborn

Joyce Fay Riggs Welborn, 76, of Huntington, wife of Douglas Welborn, passed away Monday June 2, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. Jerry Warren. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. She was born September 15, 1937 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Roy and Loretta Lycan Riggs. She was a teacher with the Cabell County School System. Joyce was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and she enjoyed reading, crocheting, music and life in general and she had a great sense of humor. She also attended Souls of Christ. In addition to her husband survivors include brother and sister in law Jack and Joyce Riggs of Ohio; nieces Elaine Zuk, Jeanne Book and Melissa Moody and Aunt Betty Lycan.
