Juanita Hester Ferguson

Juanita Hester Ferguson, 84, of Kenova, WV, passed away to her eternal home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Wayne Nursing Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 24, 1931 in Iaeger, WV. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Edna Adkins. Also she was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Ferguson and sister Jessie Virginia Napier. She is survived by one brother, Eddie Donald (Cherylene) Adkins of Prichard and her “four boys” Raymond Lee (Dottie) Ferguson of Huntington, Robert Wayne (Diane) Ferguson of Kenova, Dennie Dale (Janice) Ferguson of Barboursville, and John Richard (Connie) Ferguson of Huntington. She also leaves 7 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Dennie Joe Ferguson, Angela Beth Booth, Lisa Dawn Knotts, Melissa Ann Billups, Stephanie Lynn Burgess, Kimberly Dawn Ferguson, and Ryan Allen Ferguson along with 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, one brother-in-law Billy Earl (Shirley) Ferguson of Kenova, sister-in-law Jeanne Queen of Kenova, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Granny will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and being a homemaker. We will always cherish the love she had for her family and friends; her quilting, candy/cake making, rummage sales, and playing bingo. The family would like to thank the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Staff, Nurses, and CNA’s for their loving care and devotion they gave to our mother. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV.
