Juanita Johnson

Juanita Carmen (Finley) Johnson, 86 of Ceredo, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born March 19, 1925 in East Lynn, WV to the late Martin and Anna (Murphy) Finley. She united in marriage to Mr. Don Carlos Johnson who preceded her in death. To this union was born one daughter Martha (Richard) Hanley who survives. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings John Finley and Ilene Pelfrey. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Ceredo Christian Baptist Church. She was a Loving Spirit that will be missed by many. Survivors include her grandchildren Gene, Don, and Robin May, great grandchildren Robbie and Zane May, and a special friend Nora Hodge. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 pm Friday at the Ceredo Christian Baptist Church with Pastor Cleo Watson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11am.
