Karen Sue Adams

MRS. KAREN SUE TAYLOR ADAMS, age 66, went home to be with the Lord following an extended illness on Tuesday afternoon, September 27th 2016, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. She was born June 26, 1950, the daughter of the late Donald and Barbara Rickman Taylor. Karen was formerly a member of Russell Christian Baptist Church, where she joyfully served many years as the youth leader and custodian and was currently attending Central Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, and two grandchildren, Matthew Shelby Adams and Marlena Nicole Adams. Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Charles W. Adams; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Scott and Tina Adams, Ronnie and Melissa Adams, Bradley and Rebecca Adams; seven grandchildren whom she greatly adored, Bradley Hunter Dolon, Nicholas Ryan, Jason Alexander, Jocelyn Alexis, Charles Morgan, Andrew Mason and Kieran Rose; three brothers and sisters-in-law and two sisters. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 30th 2016, family may call at 5 p.m. and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1st 2016, at 1 p.m. at Reger Funeral Chapel, 1242 Adams Ave., Huntington, W.Va.
