Karen Sue Ashworth

Karen Sue Ashworth, 74 of Huntington, WV passed away, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Huntington Health and Rehab. She was born December 7, 1943 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Cecil Harold Clere and Marie E. Adkins Meredith. She was a former employee of Captain D's and also of Hillview Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jerri Raye Miller, two brothers, Gary Gene Clere, Jerry David Clere and two sisters, her twin Sharon Ann Ballone and Melanie Kay Meredith. She is survived by two sons, Howard Michael Ashworth, Johnny Dwayne (Sandy) Ashworth and Constance Jean Ashworth. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Brandi, Amber, Chelsey, Katelyn, Savannah, Steven, Maggie and Emma; and two that she raised Jacob Eric Matthew Miller and Joshua Julian Miller. One brother Larry Ray Clere and two sisters, Mary Lynn Nance and Lynda Lou Edens, numerous nieces, nephews and one special dog Layah survive her as well. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God.
