Karen Sue Murphy

Karen Sue Murphy, 68, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her residence. A memorial gathering will be conducted on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5 - 7 pm at the Reger Funeral Home. Karen was born on February 2, 1953 in Huntington, WV to the late Roy Danny and Barbara Higgins Turner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Scott Keith Bates; one niece, Melissa Wilburn; and one brother, Danny Turner. Karen is survived by her husband of 40 years Warren Murphy; one son and daughter-in-law, James Grant (Melissa) Murphy; three grandchildren, Grant Murphy, Haley Murphy, and Bethany Prince; many great grandchildren; one brother, Michael Higgins; a twin sister, Sharon Dachel; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
