Lajeana Marie Blatt

LeJeana Marie “Jeana” Blatt 61, of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

She was born on May 23, 1962 in Huntington, WV to Ruth Ellen Stanley Blatt and the late Robert Peter Blatt. For years and years she was a managing cosmetologist and nail technician. Over the last 15 years she had become an invaluable employee of the Wayne County School System. LeJeana took immense pride in everything she did during her life, constantly going above and beyond in every aspect. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother; Rodney A. Blatt, as well as a host of beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins we’re sure couldn’t wait to see her again. Survivors include one amazing daughter and son in law: Kati and Will Davenport of Prichard, WV, her mother: Ruth E. Stanley Blatt of Huntington, a brother and sister in law: Keith and Delores Blatt of Kenova, two nieces: Molly(Adam) Tufts, Hannah(Aaron) Tufts both of Florida, two nephews; James(Sheena) Blatt of Huntington, Michael (Kim) Blatt of Huntington, 3 wonderful grandchildren she loved dearly and was so proud of. Jacob, Mackenzie and Wyatt Davenport of Prichard and an abundance of friends that will greatly miss her. LeJeana didn’t necessarily always light up a room when she walked in, but everyone certainly knew she was there! She was an amazing person who was always there for everyone, the rock of her family, steadfast friend, always present and willing to do whatever needed to be done no matter how hard. A planting of a memorial tree and a celebration of life will follow at a later date. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.
