Lee G. Sydenstricker

Lee G. Syndenstricker, 99, of Huntington, passed away Monday August 15, 2016 at Madison Park Nursing home in Huntington, WV. He was born January 21, 1917 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late William and Letha Lewis Sydenstricker. Lee served as head greens superintendent at Spring Valley Country Club from 1946 to 1965. A talented individual, Lee continued his career as a blacksmith and was well known for his expertise throughout the Tri-State area. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Audrey Sydenstricker. Lee is survived by his son, Richard Sydenstricker (Deanna) of Tennessee and daughter Peggy Zuliani (Mike) of Florida and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at the Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance, Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, by Rev. Tim Porter. Burial will follow.
