Leslie Alvin Basenback

Leslie Alvin "Corkey"  Basenback, 67, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington by Pastor Greg Wagoner.  Burial will follow.  He was born August 24, 1956 in Huntington, a son of the late Earl and Irene Fry Basenback.  He was a retired truck driver with L.J. Navy Trucking.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter Stephanie Stepp; brothers, Earl, Jr., Freddie, Carl, Larry Joe Basenback and James Craig and sisters Minnie Mae and Mary Jo Basenback.  Survivors include grandson Timothy James Basenback; two sisters Joyce Arthur (Richard) and Helen "Sue" Collins (John) and a host of nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from noon until service time at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.  Condolences may be made at www.regerfh.com.
