Lillian Miller Hargis

Lillian Miller Hargis, 96, of Huntington, widow of John Hargis, passed away Sunday May 1, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Brother Eddie Hay. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. She was born November 24, 1919 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Henry and Mamie Tuley Miller. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a son Edward Hargis and a daughter Nina (Hargis) Sissler; her brothers Verlin, Virgle and Vernin Miller and sister Mae Baker. Survivors include sons Glenn Hargis and Michael Hargis; daughter and son in law Glenna (Muncy) and Kenny McLain; sisters Verna Garringer, Polly Cross, Mabel Arthur, Dolly Miller and Joyce Niekamp. Lillian has 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington for all of their care and services for Lillian.
