Linda Gene Jack

Linda Gene (Napier) Jack, 73, of Huntington, WV, entered the gates of Heaven to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She was born September 24, 1950. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty (Brumfield) Napier. She is survived by her father, Don Napier; her loving husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob" Jack; three daughters, Karyn (Brent) Kimball of Midlothian, VA; Lori (Chris) Layne of Chesterfield, VA; Debbi Jack of Virginia Beach, VA; 7 grandchildren: Zaine Jack, Hunter and Cameron Carter, Alexis and Darian Layne, Alexandra and Brenyn Kimball; 3 great grandchildren: Alayna Kellum, Alyse and Grayson Jack; a brother, Don C. (Robin) Napier; sisters Glenda (Ed) Jack, Junetta (Roy) Bias, and Tina (Tony) Hazlett; a host of nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Linda was a member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church for 52 years. She loved her church family, and they loved her. She was a teacher and later an administrator at Fifth Avenue Baptist Childcare for 42 years. Linda was an accomplished seamstress, crafter, and crocheter. Her works were precious, and she enjoyed sharing with those she loved. Linda will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Linda's life was one beautifully lived. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 1pm at the Philadelphia United Baptist Church, Lavalette, WV. Burial will follow Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, W.Va. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the church. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family with arrangements.
