Linda Marie Fetty

Linda Marie Fetty, 84, passed away on August 22, 2023. She was born October 17, 1938, in Huntington, West Virginia. She was the youngest child of Floyd and Lola Zickau. She is survived by her sister Elda Ann Keefer, of Huntington and was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack Zickau, and her sisters Patricia Waugh and Lola Jane Zickau. Linda valued and cherished the relationship she had with her family.

Linda was a 1956 graduate of Vinson High School. In 1958 she married her best friend and the love of her life, Benjamin Fetty. They would spend the next 59 years together building a home, raising a family, traveling, and enjoying time with their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

Linda was bus driver for South Point Schools for 25 years, and was a dedicated member of St. Ann Catholic Church, where she faithfully attended for 60+ years.

Linda loved reading, musicals, gardening, and conversation. She was a passionate photographer of her family and proudly displayed those memories throughout her home.

Linda was a loving mother to two daughters, Kathy (Joe) Stevens and Jane-Marie (Chuck) Koelsch, and an adoring Meemaw to her grandchildren, Julie Luu, Jason Luu, Sarah Iddings, Josh Iddings, Joey Stevens, Breanna Stevens, Jennifer Hackett, and Jay Hackett; and great-grandchildren Dylan, Elliott, Charlotte, Benjamin, Amelia, Parker, Harper, Marshall, Brooke, and Grayson; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was cherished by an abundance of friends, too many to list, but each held its own significance.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington,  from 4-6 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 am Monday, August 28th at St. Ann Catholic Church in Chesapeake, Ohio.
