Lola Burnice Heaberlin, 77, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Cabell Health Care Center, Culloden, West Virginia, where she was given the most loving and gentle care. Born November 21, 1938 in Glenwood, West Virginia. Burnice was the daughter of the late Nowli Icy Camp and Luther Cremeans. A homemaker, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Edward (Pete) Heaberlin and daughter, Lola Sherry Heaberlin, brothers Luther Richie Cremeans and Allen Eugene Cremeans and sisters Bertha Meadows, Daisy Jenkins, Alberta Davis, Rosie Smith and Cora Collins. Survivors include her son Wilbert Edward Heaberlin Jr. also known as Ed,who is a college professor of Theatre and Communication Studies in California; sisters Deloris Reynolds, Fraziers Bottom, Lillian Jeffers, Huntington, and Julia Hinkle of Milton, brother Manas Cremeans of Culloden, granddaughter Audra Tompos, great-grandchildren Patrick Tompos, Deoindre Hopkins, and granddaughter Sandy Heaberlin, great-grandchildren Lexy Heaberlin, Jada Perry Heaberlin, Anthony Arnold Heaberlin. Arrangements by Reger Funeral Home with interment to follow at a later date. She loved attending church, especially revivals and sang gospel music for the Lord. She is now singing with the angels. She contracted polio as a child and used crutches then a wheelchair. She is now free from her physical body and dementia and is dancing in heaven as well as singing and laughing.
