Lola Mae Thompson Talbert

Lola Mae Copley Thompson Talbert, 90 of Kenova, WV passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV and entered into heaven with her family by her side. She was born on December 24, 1923 to Henry and Mary Jane (Harvey) Copley. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands: Roy Arthur Thompson and Robert Talbert; her sisters Chloe Williams and Nanny White and her brothers Lucian, Zoria and John H. Copley and her beloved grandson Brent Steele. She was a member of the Church of God in Catlettsburg, KY and is survived by her daughter Linda C. Steele (Claude) of Kenova and her son Robert L. Thompson (Jean) of Newport News, VA.; 3 grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House staff, especially Georgeanna Tucker, CNA and Sandy Smith, RN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. James M. Lucas officiating with burial to follow at Dock�s Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV.
