Lou Ann Fenney, 91, widow of Harry William Fenney passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington by Pastor Roger Triplett. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born on October 10, 1931 in Trace Fork, W.Va., the daughter of the late Corma and Thern Hodge Triplett. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bryan Douglas Fenney; brothers, George and Tom; and sisters, Lorraine and Mary. She was a special education teacher and taught in Wayne and Cabell County schools. She was a member of the 1st Wesleyan Church and a member of the Quota Club and past president. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Bill) Kelley; son, David Fenney and Terrie and her daughter;Sarah Spencer and “her boys”: JT and Adam Shell; grandchildren, Bryan and Elizabeth Johnson, and Kelly Johnson Black and Robert Black; great grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Hailey, Hayden, Tucker, Hannah, Hudson and Harper; one brother, Roger Triplett; a special companion, Norman Porter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11:00am until service time on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Reger Funeral home, Huntington. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hospice of Huntington.
