Madra Loucille Ashley Walls, 70, of Ceredo, WV died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at her home. Madra was a caretaker for many children in her home with the W.I.N. program for several years, giving each child her love and gentle guidance. She was born February 14, 1935 in Cattlettsburg, KY, a daughter of the late William Henry Ashley of Kentucky and Mary Edith Osborn of Baltimore. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Edward Walls. Survivors include two sons, Wendall Alan Walls, Richard Lee Walls and wife Karen, and his daughter Laura Ann ; two step-grandchildren, Emily and Joey of Columbus, OH; a very special grandson, Alex Steven Walls; a special nephew Jerry Lee Walls and his son Jeremy, and a very loving friend, Carol Walls; two very special people to Madra, Debra Sue Walls and Kristin Lee Ann Snyder; a very special extended family which includes, Tim and Teresa Pell and daughters, Melissa, Whitney, and Hillary and grandson, Will; Bob and Ashley Hush and daughter Morgan, Mike and Pamela Renne, and Gary �Bub� Dishman, all of Kenova; three sisters, Joyce and her husband Fred Steeg, Wilma and Rudy Castelo, all of Baltimore, MD, and Rebecca Ashley Shealer of Gettysburg, PA; one brother, Charles �Buddy� Ashley of Baltimore, MD; a loving friend, Ruth Ann Fisher, and a host of friends and family that Madra touched with her loving and caring ways, including many, many of Alan�s special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home by Pastor Rodney Dishman. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
