Mamie Carol Lawrence

Mamie Carol Lawrence, 82, of Huntington died Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 23, 1929 in Huntington to the late Alfred and Ethel (Casey) Hite. Ms Lawrence worked at the Riverton Eagles Club in Illinois. Survivors include a daughter Linda (Fred) Leonard of Buffalo, IL,; four brothers Alfred (Pat) Hite Jr. of Gaston, IN, James Hite of Spring Valley, Charles (Peggy) Hite of Muncie, IN, and Fred (Phyllis) Hite of Kenova. Additional survivors include grandchildren Ronal (Michelle) Ward, and Lisa Maluquist; and a sister-in-law Flo Hite. In addition to her parents, Ms Lawrence was preceded in death by a son James D. Torrence, and a granddaughter Sunshine Torrence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Burial will follow at the Bash Cemetery in Catlettsburg, KY. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral
