Manuel Barcello

Manuel Barcello, 89 of Kenova, WV died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Mary�s Medical Center. He was born on January 2, 1925 in Prenter, WV to the late Manuel Barcello Sr. and Lona Burk Barcello. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Barcelo and his former wife and friend Rosemary Barcello. Manuel served his country in the US. Navy enlisting at the age of 17 in WWII and was called back into service again during the Korean War. He was employed by Houdaille Industries Inc. from 1948 until the plant ceased operations in 1980. He is survived by his sister Patty Amburgey of Murray, KY; his sons: Robert A. Barcello of Kenova and G. Gregory (Elmira) Barcello of Prosser, WA and his daughter Carol Sue (Wm. Grady Sr.) Walter of Ashland, KY. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Grady Walter II, Dwight (Melissa) Walter, Brian Barcello, Hunter (Alaina) Barcello, Melissa (Brandon) Brown and Seth Barcello and his three great-granddaughters: Casey Walter, Marley Walter and Bailey Brown and one great-grandson Elijah Barcello. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating.
