Marjorie L. Wheeler

Margie was born April 1, 1924 in Tilden, NE. She departed us Jan. 31, 2024 to be with her Lord in Heaven and join her husband Gene Wheeler as well as her mother, father and sister who will be welcoming her into salvation. She goes ahead of her brother, Bob “Sonny” Bartee and his family in Chicago; her son, Brad Wheeler and daughter-in-law, Tracie Spurlock Wheeler; her grandsons, Jake and Ben Wheeler; and great grandchildren, Caden, Leah, Lilly and Joleen Wheeler. As well as three nieces, Brenda Cardwell, Angela Morris Turner and Elizabeth Bartee Smith. Nephew, Robert Bartee; and special cousin, Rosali Lewis. She will also be missed by her grand dog “Teddy” who she loved to play with. Margie took great pleasure in knowing she was loved so much by the WUMC and her Lunch Bunch group. Service will be conducted by Pastor Kara Phillippi at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Reger Funeral Chapel in Huntington on Adams Ave. Burial will follow in Woodmere Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
