Marjorie Elaine Walter, of Huntington, WV, officially entered the Church Triumphant on March 20, 2025 after passing away at Cabell Huntington Hospital, she was 85. Marjorie (Marge), was born in Warren, OH and was the 2nd of six children to the late Myron Joseph and Gertrude Agnes (Heintz) Walter. She was a graduate of old Louisville High School (Louisville, OH) as well as Mercy Hospital's School of Nursing (Canton, OH). As an RN, she worked at various hospitals in the states of Ohio, California and Washington, specializing in Labor and Delivery as well as the NICU. In later years, she continued her career, working as a private in-home nurse, specializing with children who had tracheas. After retiring from nursing, Marge continued working in local daycares around Canton, OH and Huntington, WV. Inspired by Mother Teresa, she had a passion for children. In her younger years, Marge enjoyed roller skating, bowling and spending time with her family. In her later years, she spent most of her free time reading and doing puzzles while devoting her life to her two children and her many, many, MANY cats. Marjorie is survived by her two adopted Indian sons Glenn K. and Gavin K. of Huntington, WV, 1 brother Paul (Carolyn) of Hanoverton, OH and 1 sister Myra Jo Riffle (Ed) of Kingsland, GA, along with many nieces, nephews and their children. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Hearn and Shirley Walter and one brother Daryl Walter (Bertie). Per her request, there will be no services but a Celebration of Live event may be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a local animal shelter.
