Marvin Franklin Stafford

Marvin Franklin Stafford, 97, of Oregon, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, widower of Lucille Haynes Stafford, passed away Monday September 12, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, by his son Rev. Ronald Stafford. Burial will follow. He was born September 15, 1918 in Huntington, a son of the late William Harrison and Susie Stewart Stafford. He was a retired employee of Heiner’s Bakery. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by brothers Carlos, Jewell and Bill Stafford and sister Martha Lee Crouch. Survivors include his sons Rev. Ronald Stafford (Virginia) of Oregon, Ohio and Larry Stafford (Janie) also of Ohio; grandchildren Julie Dean (David), Ronald Stafford (Sharon) and Scott Stafford (Crystal); great grandchildren David Dean, Jr. (Christina), Megan Dean, Matthew Dean (Destiny), Nicholas Dean, Hannah Dean, Nathaniel Stafford and Paige Stafford; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon until 1:30 PM Friday at the Reger Funeral Home. A procession will leave for the cemetery at 1:30 PM. Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
