Mary Alice Cox

Mary Alice Cox, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, October 8,2017. Mary Alice was born August 26, 1933 in Huntington, WV and was employed with the Huntington Hospital as a physical therapy assistant, and retired from HealthSouth as a physical therapy assistant, a career which she dearly loved. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Huntington for many years, a breast cancer survivor, an avid NASCAR fan, and a lover of animals, especially her dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Cox; her parents, Homer and Imogene Daniels; her grandparents, Tom and Anna Bates, along with her brothers Dale (Judy) Daniels, Tracy (Pat) Daniels, and Thomas “Tommy” Daniels. She is survived by her daughter Dale Anna (Cecil) Leep of Huntington, and her son Glenn (Anita) Cox of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Huntington, along with her grandsons, Matt (Christina) Cox, Jason (Doma) Cox, Scott (Stacey) Leep, Cecil (Heather) Leep, and Cody Doyle. Mary Alice is also survived by her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Jonathan, Ryan, Madison, Shannon, Halley, Cash, Quinn, and Cali. Visitation will be held at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, WV on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 12 pm - 1 pm, and a memorial service will follow at 1 pm conducted by Pastor Kevin Lantz.
