Mary Constance Coats

Mary Constance Coats, 86 of Huntington, WV died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Heritage Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday at Springhill Cemetery by Rev. Jesse Simmons. Burial will follow. Mary was born June 30, 1928 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Shaw Lafferty. She was a daycare service provider. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Lafferty and Jimmy Lafferty and three children, Joan Coats, Mark Coats and Billy Coats. Those that survive her include, four sons; Michael Coats of Huntington, Stephen Coats (Shirley) of Columbus, Ohio, Jimmy Coats and Brian Coats both of Huntington and Brian's children Mark and Megan, in addition, granddaughters,Kerri Erin Coats(Matt) and Maria Coats. She is also survived by one brother, William Lafferty and two sisters, Cathy Moran(John) and Joan MacAteer and a host of other family and friends. There will be no visitation nor procession to the cemetery. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
