Mary Elizabeth Stapleton

Mary Elizabeth Stapleton passed away May 19, 2019 at the ARH Hospital in South Williamson, KY. She was born on April 29, 1938 to the late Buster and Lucille May. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Manuel Stapleton; brothers, Clearence, Roger, Terry, John, and Michael; and sisters, Helen, and Sue. She is survived by her brothers, Carl David and wife Shirley May, Dean May; sisters, Louise May, Sherry and husband Dewey Spencer, and sister-in-law, Ruby May all of Thacker, WV. Mary was employed at White Way Laundry in Huntington for 28 years. Funeral services will be at Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, WV Thursday beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery at Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Carl, Dean, Louise, and Sherri would like to say a special thanks to all the employees at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home at Phelps, KY to where she was a resident for the last 8 years.
