MARY ETTA SCARBERRY, 73, of Kenova passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Leo Gibson. Burial will be in Bash Cemetery, Catlettsburg, Ky. She was born Aug. 22, 1930, a daughter of the late Jefferson and Ruth Adams Castle. She was a retired nurse?s assistant with Presbyterian Manor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Scarberry and a son, Harold Lee Scarberry. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold Ray and Ruth Ann Scarberry of Kenova, W.Va., Raymond and Sis Scarberry and Gene and Jenette Scarberry, all of Ceredo, W.Va.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Don Pritchard of Kenova, Louise McDaniels of Huntington and Helen and Ed Robertson of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Johnny Ray Scarberry, Ronnie Scarberry, Junnie Scarberry, Donald Ray Pritchard, Eugene 'Bub' Scarberry, Mary Lee Scarberry, Harold James Scarberry, Tammy Lynn Scarberry and Lee Scarberry; and a brother, Henderson Payne of Richmond, Ky. The family would like to thank her special caregivers Josie and Freda. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
