Mary Lillian Mechanic

Mary Lillian Mechanic, 63, of Huntington, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery. She was born on December 23, 1957 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Fred Salem Cornell and Mary Alberta Moore Ferguson. In addition ot her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford Ray Mechanic and a step son: Patrick Mechanic, brothers and sisters: Holly Ray Moore, Henry Travis Jr., Fred Cornell, Henryetta Travis, Dolly Sowards and Lelah Gaye Haley. She was a retired housekeeper with the Mildred Mitchell Bateman State Hospital.  Survivors include her son: Mark Mechanic and step-son Randy Mechanic, step grandchildren: Lilly and Danny Mechanic and sisters: Anna Fortner, Elnora Chaney, Rosaline Barber, Shiela Jarrells, Deborah Robertson; as well as her faithful dog, Shaggy.  She was greatly loved by her nieces and nephews, and will be missed by everybody around her.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Reger Funeral Home.
