Mary Marie Perdue

Mary Marie Perdue, 92 of Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday, December 21 2023 at Cabell Health Care Center.

Memorial service will be held on January 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Ceredo, WV

She was born on June 1, 1931 in Crum, WV the daughter of the late Thomas Varney Sr. and Ruth Prince Varney. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband: Robert Ray Perdue and siblings: Oscar, Lester, Robert, Homer and Carl Varney and Ruby (Varney) Koontz.

She is survived by her daughter and caretaker: Wanda Gale (Perdue) Copley and her son: Robert Ray Perdue Jr. Grandchildren: Robert Brian Perdue, Douglas Brent Perdue, Mary Kristin (Copley) Rock, John Thomas Copley II, James Ray Copley and Laura Bergale (Copley) Morton. Great grandchildren: Abigail and Adam Rock, Karlynn, Tommy and Ruby Copley, Ava, Jack and Joe Perdue and Susie Copley and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary loved to cook, bake, can and garden. She also loved music, reading the bible and visiting family and friends. She also loved caring for animals (dogs, cats and birds)

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to any animal shelter of your choosing in Mary’s name.

Friends may call from 1:00pm until service time on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date.
