Maudie Evelyn Stambaugh

Maudie Evelyn (Bush) Stambaugh, 83, of Huntington died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the St. Mary�s Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1928 in Johnson County KY to the late John Wesley and Sarah (Stanley) Bush. Mrs. Stambaugh united in marriage to Mr. Tracy Martin Stambaugh who also preceded her in death. Survivors include her children Donald Stambaugh and fianc� Barbara Ballard of Bowling Green, KY and Mary Hagley of Huntington, WV; a daughter in law Billy Joe Stambaugh of Prichard, WV; a brother and sister in law John W. and Nellie Bush of Ashland, KY; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Stambaugh was preceded in death by a son James Stambaugh, and twin daughters Janet and Janice Stambaugh. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bush Family Cemetery in Cannonsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Saturday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
