Maurice Lee Wise

Maurice Lee Wise, 83, of Huntington died Friday, April 23, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Huntington. He was born February 26, 1927 in Taplan, WV to the late Orville Lee and Ruby (Adkins) Wise. Mr. Wise was a retired Heating & Air Technician. He had a passion for spending time outdoors fishing. He is the widower of Mary Bell Wise. He is survived by a son Wyatt Lee Wise of Huntington, WV and a daughter Sue Wise of Ferndale, MI. Other survivors include a granddaughter Stephanie Copley; great-grandchildren Brittany, Daniel, & Ashley Copley; his special �adopted� grandchildren Amanda Hall, Charles Basenback, and Jeffrey Carver; and special �adopted� great-grandchildren Bryden Basenback, Destiny Graham, Brianna Hall, and Brinley Shae Carver. In addition to his family, he is survived by his caretaker of many years Rhonda Hall. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Ridgelawn Memorial Gardens. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is assisting the family.
