Maxine Kretzer

Maxine Kretzer, loving wife and mother, 73, of Ceredo died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at St. Mary�s Medical Center in Huntington. She was born June 26, 1934 in Harts Creek WV to the late Byron and Jesse Atkins Ramey. She was a Seamstress for the Maidenform Company. Mrs. Kretzer was a member of the Ceredo Christian Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Homer Kretzer and a son Timothy Lee and his wife Marilyn Kretzer of Proctorville, OH. Additional survivors include two sisters Arlene Dalton of Cannonsburg, KY and Dot Fry of Harts Creek, WV and three brothers Robert of Michigan, Raymond of Florida, and Terry of Illinois. Mrs. Kretzer also leaves behind two very special grandsons Jacob, age 10 and Caleb age 6. She was preceded in death by a sister Marie. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. Cleo Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Docks Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
